Fantasy Grip is an app with the intention to give fantasy football fans an edge up. The app was aimed to develop a high-fidelity prototype application through collaborative efforts between a designer and a front-end developer. We focused on leveraging user experience (UX) design principles to create a seamless and intuitive interface, ensuring optimal user engagement and satisfaction.

Conceptualization
At the heart of our project lay the vision to provide users with comprehensive access to key points within the realm of fantasy football. Our app aimed to streamline the process of team management by offering real-time statistics and player insights. Think of it as a set of flashcards enabling users to swiftly make informed selections.
User flow
The initial sketches laid the foundation for our iterative design process. Central to this stage was the incorporation of visual design elements such as color, which played a pivotal role in categorizing player positions. Crafting a layout that optimized usability through thoughtful hierarchy prioritization was imperative.

Iterations
Following rounds of usability testing and stakeholder feedback, we transitioned to refining the app’s user interface (UI) to ensure a seamless and empathetic user experience. Our goal was to create a visually cohesive interface that facilitated smooth navigation between wireframes, aligning closely with user expectations.
Design System
Upon validation of the UX design, our focus shifted to enhancing the app’s visual aesthetics while preserving its functional integrity. We established a streamlined design system to elevate the overall look and feel, addressing stakeholder preferences for a dark-themed UI.
Through a monochromatic palette, readability was optimized without compromising on visual appeal.

In the final phase, we leveraged prototyping tools to bring our designs to life, enabling stakeholders to visualize the app’s functionality in real-time.
